Keanu Reeves shines like a dim bulb flickering in a 
darkekned hallway in this glum tale of mob bosses 
and their tattooed brides in a small town near Portland.
A hapless young cutie (expertly fleshed out by the 
great Cameron Diaz) is condemmed to marry Keanu's 
oafish brother; her punishment and his reward due 
a conniving mob boss (Frank Paglia in a brilliantly 
overstated performance). Keanu, ever ready to covet 
his brother's good fortune, runs off with the 
pulchritudinal prize, his brother and the mob in 
luke-warm pursuit. 

This film flutters along like a bad pastiche of 
equal parts David Lynch, The Coen Bros., Quentin 
Taratnino and Gus Van Sandt. Of course I have not 
seen the movie, but I can tell.
